17. EMC Income Sources and projections

As an organization gathering expert consultants from all 24 medical specialties, estimates from informed sources suggest that the total pool may exceed 5,000, although there are no valid statistics available. Based on a conservative 20% of those estimates or 1000 members by fiscal year end, the following income projections are derived for the 1st year of full operation. These figures do not include the membership volume and reduced membership income from medical students, medical residents and allied health specialties membership. Anticipated growth rate is 2,000 members annually. As medical resident members complete their training, we expect capture of greater than 90% of such physicians as permanent attending members, knowledgeable and vigilant as to medico-legal exposure.
